The Modo Yoga Cambridge community means so many things to me...the community has been a source of healing from deep grief and loss and also a place of comfort, joy and connection. The studio is where I have grown, learned to embrace and love my body, be challenged, find calm, dig deep, push my limits, be playful, explore and feel supported. MYC is truly like a second family!
Yoga during pregnancy and beyond can help to relax your body, calm your mind and help you connect with your baby. Yoga is safely performed at any time during your pregnancy, up to and even after birth. It is also a magnificent way to navigate post part. A regular yoga practice during pregnancy can help relieve back pain, reduce your stress and help with swollen, achy joints. In this 6 week yoga series, learn different strategies to nourish your mind and body during pregnancy
Hosted by Marsha Jaworski and Jenna Speir.
Land on your mat for 90min of movement and massage. Weave together hands on adjustments from Jenna and Marsha with yoga postures and self massage using yoga tune up balls focused on feet and calves. 7:30pm to 9:00pm in our non-heated studio.
Inspired by our popular Modo Fit class, Mama Fit is a breath-centerer, strength-based fitness class designed with new Mom’s in mind. The format of this class allows you to bring non-mobile babies, and connect with your littles while working the body in a balanced way. Babies can be worn in a carrier during a portion of the class, or stay right next to you on a blanket or snoozing in their carseat. This class is open to everyone (not just new Mamas), however we ask that only non-mobile babies attend.
Join Emily Drouillard, owner of Modo Yoga Cambridge for a free 60 minute yoga class guided by the light of the November Full Moon and alongside beautiful views of the Grand River.

This special class will be hosted in the Riverview Room at the Idea Exchange – Old Post Office (12 Water Street S.)
